Jay and Caley Porter have been married since June of 2007 and have been a part of Christ Central Alachua since the summer of 08. Jay is a graduate of The Baptist College of Florida with a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Studies. He strives to communicate a relevant message about Christ even in this postmodern world. • His: Everything from Coldplay to Skillet to Ergun Caner.
• Hers: We’re married, we’re broke, so what can I say? I don’t have an iPod…yet

• His: Any book from Doug Fields, Andy Stanley, or Rob Bell (and the Bible since no one else was holy enough to put it).
• Hers: I really can’t choose, but ANYTHING from Erwin McManus.

Favorite Movies

• His: Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, yeah…I’m one of those guys.
• Hers: Lord of the Rings, Failure to Launch, V for Vendetta to name a few.

Favorite Hobbies

• His: Chillin with my wife, watching the Gators, and anything ESPN has to offer.
• Hers: Jay, reading, and of course, shopping!

Odd Fact

• His: I once wrote a song about a dead armadillo…don’t ask.
• Hers: My husband is a Star Wars fan, which is pretty odd to me.

• His: “Jesus wept.” Na…just kidding.
